The Monaco Grand Prix is a Formula 1 race at the Monte Carlo urban circuit in the Principality of Monaco. Held from the first World Cup in 1950 to the present. From 1929 to 1948, prior to the advent of Formula One, the Monaco Grand Prix of auto racing was run as an independent sport.
